Inworld Photography

Inworld Photography is not new to me. My first encounter with it was year 2011 when I took MMS 198 - Gaming in Multimedia. Inworld photography is one of the most popular hobbies in Second Life - a 3D virtual world used as a venue for online users to socialize, comment and participate to a variety of activities like building virtual objects used for trading properties, chatting and inworld photography. This is made up of simple geometric shapes, Linden Scripting Language which is commonly used to facilitate interaction between characters and objects.

Inworld photography is an amazing virtual activity. Unlike real world photography where one is required to go to specific places and set up necessary equipment  SL only requires the online user to create a personal account and make an avatar as a virtual image of the user. Upon signing in, the user can manipulate his/her avatar to go to various destinations. Another good thing it has to offer is that it gives the online user a chance to manipulate the virtual environment's setting to sunrise, midday and sunset. The avatar can walk and fly which is helpful in choosing specific angles to capture.

My personal experience on inworld photography is much easier today compared to my first encounter back in MMS 198 days. Here are some of my SL screenshots.
