Photography

Photography is an exciting indoor and outdoor activity for me. In photography, it doesn't limit a person from capturing photos but extends its ability by recording memories inside a magical box called the camera. Before enrolling in MMS 173, I only have minimal exposure to it. Selfies, photobombs and portraits are some of the things I know. However, when I already started to engage myself into the course's activities, it has given me a deeper understanding on how we can purposely create a photo that is not only used for documentation but used aesthetically to express what we feel. Among the things I am learning right now are design elements, design principles, composition and post processing terms which guides me whenever I engage in photography. With this new knowledge I have right now, I experimented on controlling the resolution of my camera and considered the use of lights, elements and composition every time I capture my subjects. As a result, here are some of my photos.

As a BAMS student, this makes me a little proud because it challenges me to reveal my artistic side through photography. It is also one way to appreciate more the beauty of nature.
